GCE products were used in Latin America for generations. Since 1930s AGA equipment were used in the region. Manufactured in Swedish workshops and then assembled locally in some countries during the military era, when they had closed the borders.
From the 80's to the early twentieth century, GCE had a team providing support to the region from Europe
In 2008, GCE decides to devote their own resources to Latin America ranking in the region to be closer to market needs and improve response times and in 2010, they decided to open the first office in the region, in Panama, for its central location to serve the 32 countries of Latin America.
